What does the red-rumped parrot eat?

Red-rumped parrots primarily feed on fruits, berries, nuts, blossoms, and flowers. They prefer to forage in fruit-bearing trees and bushes, especially those with small fruits and fleshy pulp. They also feed on seeds and buds of various plants. During periods when fruits and berries are scarce, they may also feed on insects, grubs, and even nectar from flowers.
