Where is a snowy owl found at?

The snowy owl is found in Arctic and subarctic North America, Europe and Asia. Snowy owls are found in open tundra, but also in taiga and other open habitats. They prefer areas with plenty of small mammals, such as lemmings and voles. Snowy owls migrate south in the winter, but some individuals may remain in their Arctic homes if there is enough food available.
