How do get skill point bugs to birds on rachet and clank 3?

There is no way to directly give Skill Points to birds in Ratchet & Clank 3. Skill Points can be earned by defeating enemies and completing challenges throughout the game. Birds are not involved in the process of earning or using Skill Points.
