How does a kiwi bird lay its eggs?

A kiwi bird lays its eggs in a burrow. The burrow is usually 1-3 meters long and dug into the ground. The female kiwi will lay 1-3 eggs in the burrow, and the eggs will be incubated by the male kiwi. The incubation period is about 85 days, and the chicks will hatch out of the eggs fully feathered and able to walk.
