How long before a sparrow can fly and leave the nest?

Sparrows typically fledge, or leave the nest, 10 to 15 days after hatching. During this time, they develop their flight feathers and learn to fly by taking short flights from the nest and back. By the time they leave the nest, they are able to fly well enough to find food and avoid predators
