Will a baby guinea hen imprint?

Guinea fowls typically do not imprint. Imprinting occurs when a hatchling forms a very close bond with the first moving object that it sees, usually its mother. This behavior does not occur in guinea fowls, which are precocial birds and are able to care for themselves shortly after hatching.
