How do lady birds breath?

Ladybirds breathe through spiracles. Spiracles are tiny holes located on the sides of their body. They are connected to a system of tubes called tracheae, which carry air to the ladybird's cells. The ladybird opens and closes its spiracles to control the flow of air.
