How does a cardinal bird fly?

Soaring: Cardinals use soaring to cover long distances. They spread their wings and glide on air currents, using minimal energy.

Flapping: Cardinals flap their wings to generate lift and move forward. They have strong flight muscles that enable them to fly swiftly and maneuver through dense vegetation.

Hovering: Cardinals can briefly hover in mid-air to reach food or observe their surroundings. They achieve this by rapidly flapping their wings.
