How long do budgie birds take to lay eggs?

On average, it takes around 10 – 11 days for a mother budgie to lay her first egg after mating. After this, she will often go on to lay an egg roughly every other day. On average, a full clutch will total up to four or six eggs in total but a few budgie hens might go a little over to eight before stopping.
