What are flamingos prey?

Flamingoes mainly feed on small invertebrates. They often eat shrimp, small fish, brine flies, brine shrimp and other small insects and plants that live in or near the water, such as:

- Diatoms

- Blue-green algae

- Molluscs

- Insects and insect larvae

- Small crustaceans

- Worm, such as polychaetes

- Small fish

- Tadpoles

- Seeds and plant matter
