Do wild turkeys live in groups?

Wild turkeys do live in groups. A group of wild turkeys is called a "rafter" or "gang". These groups can be quite large, with some rafters numbering over 100 birds. Turkeys in a rafter will often roost together in trees at night and forage for food together during the day.
