Is it normal for two black cats to have white kittens?

It is not normal for black parents to have white kittens without the dominant white gene present. If two black cats mate, their offspring will almost certainly be black. However, if one of the black cats is a carrier of the dominant white gene, then there is a chance that the offspring will be white.
