Are blue eyed Turkish Angola cats deaf?

Turkish Angora cats can have blue eyes, but being blue eyed does not make a cat deaf. White cats with two copies of the dominant white gene (epistatic white) and blue eyes are more likely to be deaf, but this is not always the case. Many white cats with blue eyes have normal hearing.
