Can a liger run faster than cheetah?

A liger is a hybrid offspring of a male lion and a female tiger. Although ligers are the largest cats in the world, they cannot run faster than cheetahs. Cheetahs are the fastest land animals, capable of reaching speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour (75 miles per hour). Ligers, on the other hand, are not known for their speed and typically have a top speed of around 80 kilometers per hour (50 miles per hour).
