Should a dogs nose be cold or hot?

Dogs normally have cool and moist noses. A dry and warm nose does not necessarily mean your dog is unwell or ill, they could have just woken up or been sleeping. On the other hand, if your dog’s nose has been dry and warm for hours together along with other symptoms like dullness, vomiting, coughing, diarrhoea, then a checkup from the vet is recommended in that case.
