When can you let puppies leave the mom dog?

The ideal time for puppies to leave their mother is between 8 and 12 weeks of age. This is when they have gained enough autonomy to be able to eat solid food and regulate their body temperature. They have also had enough time to develop social and emotional skills from their interactions with their mother and littermates.
