How many dogs in Europe?

As of my most recent knowledge update in September 2021, there are approximately 85 million dogs in Europe. This number includes dogs of all breeds and sizes, and varies from country to country. For example, the United Kingdom has an estimated 9 million dogs, while Germany has an estimated 10 million dogs.
