What is the name of animal shelter that put down dogs?

There is no such thing as an animal shelter that puts down dogs. Animal shelters are places where stray or abandoned animals are taken care of until they can be adopted into new homes. If an animal is too sick or injured to be adopted, they will be humanely euthanized by a veterinarian.
