Where are ghost shrimp found in the wild?

Ghost shrimp have an incredibly broad range across the globe including freshwater streams and estuaries from Japan down into parts of Micronesia (Caroline Islands & Guam), but can also be found along both North American coasts from Georgia up through Cape Cod, then along parts of Canada all the way to California.
