How big are Giant Kangaroo Rats?

Giant kangaroo rats are actually quite large for a rodent! They can grow to be:

* Head and body length: 12-16 inches (30-40 cm)

* Tail length: 10-14 inches (25-35 cm)

* Weight: 1-2 pounds (0.5-1 kg)

That makes them about the size of a house cat!
