How many babies does a monkey have at once?

Monkeys typically have one baby at a time.

There are a few exceptions:

* Marmosets and tamarins are small monkeys that can have twins, and sometimes even triplets!

* Some species of macaques have been known to have twins, but this is rarer.

However, in general, monkeys are considered to be single-birth animals.
