Why are ospreys endangered in pa?

Ospreys are not endangered in Pennsylvania. In fact, their population has been increasing in recent years. According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, there were an estimated 150 nesting pairs of ospreys in the state in 2019, up from just 25 pairs in the 1970s.
