How big are lions prides?

The size of a lion pride can vary significantly, but on average, a pride consists of around 15-40 individuals. However, some prides have been known to include as many as 100 lions. Lion prides are typically made up of related females, their cubs, and one or two males. The pride males are responsible for defending the territory while the females do most of the cooperative hunting the prides food
