How many wolverines are there left in the world?

The global wolverine population is estimated to be around 300,000 individuals, with the largest populations in Canada and Alaska. Wolverines are also found in parts of Europe and Asia. The wolverine is listed as a species of least concern by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), although some populations are threatened by habitat loss and hunting.
