Are polar bears afraid of kodiak bears?

Kodiak bears and polar bears do not naturally come into contact with each other, as polar bears are found in the Arctic and Kodiak bears are native to the Kodiak Archipelago in Alaska. Thus, polar bears are unlikely to be afraid of Kodiak bears.
