What is the breeding season for quokkas?

The quokka's (Setonix brachyurus) breeding season is typically from January to August, with most births occurring between April and June. While breeding can occur throughout the year, the main breeding season coincides with the abundance of new plant growth and increased availability of food resources during the warmer months in their native habitat of southwestern Australia.
