Mosquitoes are considered to be the world's deadliest animal when factoring in the fact that the deadliest diseases affecting humans include malaria, dengue fever, yellow fever, chikungunya, tularemia, West Nile virus, Japanese encephalitis and filariasis, all of which are transmitted by female mosquitoes.
