Do ectothemic animals control their body temperature?

Ectothermic animals, also known as cold-blooded animals, do not control their body temperature internally, but use external heat sources (and behavioral tactics) to regulate their body temperature within specific suitable ranges. Their body temperature fluctuates with the temperature of their environment.
