How big are pigs when then born?

Piglets are born quite small compared to their adult size. On average, a newborn piglet weighs between 2.5 and 3.5 pounds (1.1 and 1.6 kilograms) and is about 10-12 inches (25-30 centimeters) long. Compared to the massive size some pigs can grow to be, piglets are tiny at birth.
