What organism belongs to more than one food chain?

Many organisms belong to more than one food chain. For example, grass is eaten by rabbits, which are eaten by wolves. Grass is also eaten by deer, which are eaten by bears. Therefore, grass belongs to two different food chains: (1) grass-rabbit-wolf, and (2) grass-deer-bear. Other organisms that belong to more than one food chain include plankton, insects, small fish, and birds.
