How does a giraffe gather its food?

Giraffes have long necks and long tongues that help them reach leaves, buds, and shoots on trees. They can reach up to 20 feet (6 meters) high to reach the best food sources. Giraffes are also social animals and often eat together in groups called "towers." When they are eating together, they can strip an entire tree of its leaves in a few minutes.
