Do walruses live in the south pole?

Walruses do not live in the south pole. They are found in the Arctic Ocean and sub-Arctic seas such as the Bering Sea, the Chukchi Sea, the Laptev Sea, the Kara Sea, and the Barents Sea. They prefer shallow waters with plenty of sea ice, which they use for hauling out, breeding, and nursing their young.
