Where do snowy owls live?

Snowy owls are found in the Arctic tundra regions of North America, Europe, and Asia. They prefer open areas with low vegetation, such as tundra, prairies, and marshes. During the winter, they may also be found in more southern regions, such as the northern United States and Canada.
