What kind of trees do toucans stay in?

Toucans are birds in the family Ramphastidae of tropical South and Central America. As opposed to living in one kind of tree, they use tree hollows for protection or roosting. These trees are typically larger trees but there is variety within species of which trees toucans choose as their habitat due to availability, tree structure, and safety/accessibility.
