One endangered species in the tundra biome?

The polar bear is one endangered species in the tundra biome. Polar bears primarily inhabit the sea ice around the Arctic Ocean (and surrounding seas/bays like the Hudson Bay, Foxe Basin, Chukchi Sea, Kara Sea, and Laptev Sea), and so most populations are associated with a particular country, although the animals often roam freely across political jurisdictions.
