Where do spectacled bears live?

The spectacled bear (Tremarctos ornatus) is found in the Andes Mountains of South America. Its range includes parts of Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. Spectacled bears inhabit a variety of habitats within the Andes, including cloud forests, temperate forests, páramo grasslands, and alpine meadows.
