How many more weeks of winter if the groundhog does not see his shadow?

According to folklore, if a groundhog sees its shadow on February 2nd, there will be six more weeks of winter weather. If the groundhog does not see its shadow, spring will come early. However, there is no scientific evidence to support this tradition.
