How long is a Ferret year?

Ferrets age much faster than humans. While a human year is roughly equivalent to a ferret year, here's how it's often broken down:

* First year: Equivalent to about 7 human years

* Second year: Equivalent to about 4 human years

* Third year onwards: Equivalent to about 2 human years per ferret year

So, a ferret's lifespan is typically around 5-10 years, which is much shorter than a human's.
