What do the marks of a hawks claw look like?

Hawk talons leave triangular puncture wounds with two smaller marks above and below from where the feathers of the toes touch the skin. The depth the talons penetrate usually depends on the size of the hawk and strength used in the attack. For larger talons, wounds deeper than one-half inch are possible.
