Is a Paint horse considered dappled?

A Paint horse can have a dappled coat pattern, but not all Paint horses are dappled. Dappling is a coat pattern characterized by small, round or oval spots of a darker color on a lighter base coat. While dappling is a common coat pattern in Paint horses, it is not exclusive to this breed and can be found in many other horse breeds as well.
