What does napoleon mistakes for onset death in animal farm?

In the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell, Napoleon (the pig who takes over the farm after the rebellion) does not make any mistakes concerning the onset of death in animals. The deaths that occur on the farm are due to natural causes or old age, and there is no indication that Napoleon is responsible for them.
