Are riding pants in or out of the boot?

Riding pants should be tucked into the boots to provide full protection and prevent the pants from riding up or becoming entangled in the motorcycle's moving parts. Tucking the pants into the boots also helps to keep water and dirt from entering the boots when riding in wet or muddy conditions.
