How many giant pandas are left in the zoos?

According to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), there are currently 600 giant pandas living in zoos around the world. This number has increased from around 200 individuals in the early 1980s, thanks to successful captive breeding programs. The majority of these pandas live in China, with smaller populations in other countries such as the United States, Japan, and Australia.
