How long does the female pregnancy of a fighting fish last?

There is no such thing as a female pregnancy in fighting fish. Female fighting fish lay eggs, and the males fertilize them outside of the body. The eggs hatch within 24-48 hours, and the fry are free-swimming within a few days.
