Who would win in a race human or cheetah?

A cheetah would easily win a race against a human over short distances. Cheetahs are the fastest land animals, capable of reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph), while humans' top speed is around 37 km/h (23 mph). However, humans can sustain much slower speeds for extended periods of time.
