Do all sharks swim in their sleep?

No, not all sharks swim in their sleep. Some species of sharks, such as the nurse shark and the wobbegong shark, can occasionally rest on the ocean floor without moving for extended periods of time, but this does not mean they are asleep. Other sharks, like the great white shark, must constantly swim to maintain their buoyancy and breathe, so they do not sleep in the traditional sense.
