Can neon tetras be in the same tank as a Siamese fighter fish?

Neon tetras are small, peaceful fish that are often kept in community tanks with other peaceful fish. Siamese fighter fish, on the other hand, are known for their aggressive behavior and should not be kept with other fish that are smaller or less aggressive. Neon tetras would be stressed and likely killed by a Siamese fighter fish.
