Where does a viperfish live?

Viperfish live in the deep ocean, specifically in the mesopelagic zone, also known as the twilight zone, which is between 200 and 1,000 meters (656 and 3,281 feet) below the surface. They can be found in all temperate and tropical oceans around the world.
