Why are fish in the Chernobyl area huge?

Fish in the Chernobyl area aren't actually any bigger than those in other places. There are no studies to support the claim that radiation resulted in the enlargement of the fish. In reality, the fish population has been severely impacted by the Chernobyl disaster.
