Harp seals are found in the North Atlantic Ocean.

They spend most of their time in the ice floes of the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions, including:

* Canada: Newfoundland and Labrador

* Greenland

* Russia

* Norway

* Iceland

They are not found in the Pacific Ocean or the Southern Hemisphere.
